The field for the Valero Texas Open just got even better with three major champions and a top international player gave the thumbs up to to playing in the tournament.
Tournament officials announced on Friday that 11-time PGA Tour winner Jordan Spieth, two-time Valero Texas Open champion Zach Johnson and 2019 U.S. Open winner Gary Woodland confirmed their commitments to play in next week's tournament.
The Valero Texas Open runs from March 29-April 4.
Spieth, who won both the Masters and U.S. Open in 2015 and The Open Championship in 2017, will return for a second consecutive year. His best finish was in 2015 when he was runner-up to Boerne's Jimmy Walker.
